Introduction:
This history sections have data which dates from fall 2001. The original
version of the color picker was coded then. In the fall 2002 I took up
design again. I left the old history pages up so that one can see the
progress from the start until now. I try to present all the logic and
development step which I encountered in a simple manner. Please email me
if you find anything that is ambiguous.
(fall 2001) This quest of mine started when I came a across a very odd sight on the
web: a page of 216 web safe colors
layout in a
totally unordered manner. (This file can be found at www.htmlclinic.com/colorchart.php)
I decided that it
would be easy to do better then the designer of this site. The task I
took up would turn out to be a bit more involving then I imagined when I
first started. Armed with curiosity and lots of homework which I
really didn't want to do, I set about to order this chaos.
